In February and March 2018 there will be roadworks that are impacting our buses to/from Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea.
The A149 will be closed at Thornham near to the village hall. All buses operating on Service 36 will therefore be operating to a diversion route meaning that we’re unable to serve Holme-next-the-Sea village during the closure.
From Wells-next-the-Sea buses will turn left in Thornham after the Orange Tree Public House and then right onto Thornham Road then follow the road to Hunstanton Road before turning right towards Old Hunstanton where the normal route will be resumed.
A shuttle bus will be in operation between Holme-next-the-Sea and Hunstanton, click here to view the timetable.
Journeys from Hunstanton direction will operate the reverse of this diversion.
On Monday 5th March there will be resurfacing work in Dersingham impacting upon our bus services as follows:
• Mountbatten Road and Station Road will not be able to be served all day on any services. Buses will therefore divert via Lynn Road where the bus stops near the playing field will be served instead.
• The morning journey on Service 35A and School Bus 11 are able to operate as per normal. However, the afternoon journey on Service 35A and School Bus 11 will divert via Manor Road. The section of route between The Feathers Public House and the top of Chapel Road cannot be served in the afternoon unfortunately.
We apologise for any inconvenience that these diversions may cause you.
