In January 2018 there are two sets of major roadworks that will affect the operation of our Service 36 and Service 414.
3rd January 2018 to 5th January 2018
The A149 is closed at the Victoria PH, Holkham which means that Service 36 is unable to serve Wells-next-the-Sea. The morning journey will commence at Burnham Market, Green at 0717hrs and then continue along its normal route to Hunstanton and onto King's Lynn as a Service 34. The afternoon journey will terminate at Burnham Market.
Service 414 (to/from Wells Alderman Peel High School) will divert after Burnham Market to Fakenham and then return towards Wells via the B1105.
8th January 2018 to 19th January 2018
The A149 is closed between Old Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea between the hours 0900hrs and 1600hrs. The impacts the following journeys on Service 36:
0835hrs from Wells-next-the-Sea to Hunstanton. This will operate the normal route from Wells but then at Thornham divert via Ringstead, Heacham and then onto the A149 before going to Hunstanton.
1410hrs from Hunstanton to Wells-next-the-Sea. This will operate via Heacham, Ringstead and then onto Thornham before continuing along the coast to Wells-next-the-Sea.
Holme-next-the-Sea cannot be served on these two journeys unfortunately.
The school bus from Smithdon High School at 1510hrs is unaffected as will be let through the works.
We apologise for the unavoidable inconvenience these closures are causing.
